Hello! – I’m Christine Ware – The Career Doctor and I live and work in East Yorkshire and have enjoyed a career which has encompassed Human Resources, Training and Retail Management and I’m at my best when working with, and through people.
I now bring all these skills together with coaching and mentoring to help others thrive and develop in their careers. I also have worked extensively with Hull University Business School and other local Yorkshire universities, helping students to realise their potential and gain the careers they are truly capable of achieving. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing people in a job they love :). My original career started at the University of Hull, so there’s not much I don’t know about universities!
In addition, I mentor senior level clients, keep their careers on track and act as a sounding board for their ideas and fears and aspirations.
So whether you are embarking on your first job straight from school, or have reached dizzy heights in your career, there is something here for you!
Our 15-year-old son needed a CV, a personal statement and advice about interview techniques to secure a place on an apprenticeship programme. My hubby and I had no idea where to start. Christine spent time talking with our son to get the information from him needed to create a standout CV and personal statement. She then helped him with his interview technique. The results: his first interview resulted in him being offered a place on his dream apprenticeship programme. R& T Tait, 2020
I had the pleasure of attending one of Christine’s career coaching classes “Networking for Professional Success”. The workshop that Christine delivered was outstanding and packed through of excellent tips and helpful hints regarding all areas of professional networking. The nature of the workshop is a step-by-step guide of the do’s and don’ts regarding networking perfect for beginners like myself. Christine has a lovely bubbly personality and is more than happy to answer questions at the end of the sessions about career development in general regardless of what stage of your career you are at. I feel that the lessons about networking will last a lifetime and hopefully yield career success in the future.
I’m on my second promotion thanks to you!
It was amazing how different my CV looked after you worked your magic on it. It certainly opened up interview doors and I’ve been pleased to accept a great new role.
